Coached is a behavioral science product that uses AI to help people understand themselves better. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and, optionally, your name. We use passwordless login, so we don't store passwords.
• Assessment responses — text and voice answers you provide during the personality assessment.
• LinkedIn profile data — if you use our LinkedIn deep read, we use a third-party API to retrieve the publicly available content of the profile URL you submit. Coached does not scrape, crawl, or directly collect data from LinkedIn. We only access information the profile owner has chosen to make publicly visible through their own LinkedIn privacy settings, and we do not store LinkedIn data beyond what is needed to deliver your result.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Newsletter subscription — if you opt in to Coached Weekly, we store your email for that purpose. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and you can opt out at any time.

How we use your data

• To generate your personality assessment or LinkedIn deep read.
• To send you transactional emails (verification codes, results).
• To send you our newsletter, if you opted in.
• To improve and develop our product.

AI and your data

Coached uses AI language models to generate your assessment results and LinkedIn reads. Your data is sent to our AI providers solely to produce your results. Our AI providers do not use your data to train or improve their models. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage data to help us understand how people use the site.
• Cloudflare — bot protection and security.
• Email delivery service — to send transactional and newsletter emails.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you logged in and to support analytics. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure site usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.

Your choices

• You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
• You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing us.
